Associate Manager, International Marketing Frontline

This role is pivotal to SME Korea’s success in executing impactful marketing campaigns for International Frontline projects.

As part of a dynamic five-person team, in this position you will facilitate communication with global Sony Music counterparts for Columbia, RCA, Epic, Arista, UK, and J-Pop, while supporting the planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of integrated marketing campaigns for key international repertoires in Korea.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in or lead the planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns in collaboration with DSPs, social media, and influencers to increase artist awareness and maximize music streaming and revenue.
  • Identify key social platforms and emerging trends to effectively manage communications with the target audience.
  • Support international artists and their management during Korea concerts by planning, securing, and executing on-ground promotions to maximize artist availability and increase streaming performances.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of song and album releases on local and global DSPs, delivering information and assets promptly for DSP promotions and support for international repertoires.
 

Who you are:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in the music, DSP, or entertainment industry.
  • Passionate, knowledgeable, and curious about international popular music.
  • Proficiency in English communication, both spoken and written, with an emphasis on writing skills.
  • Proficient and knowledgeable in digital marketing, social media, media promotion, and other relevant marketing skills.
  • Digitally and social media savvy, with a strong understanding of the latest local media landscape, popular culture, and viral trends.
  • Excellent communication skills to work smoothly and efficiently with multiple stakeholders, teams, and partners.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines by effectively managing time, resources, and stress levels.
