Associate Manager, Social Media

Content is king, and this role will supercharge SME Korea’s presence in the social media space, aiming to triple our content output and enhance control over our key marketing message, visage, and image.

By significantly increasing our social footprint and engagements, in this position you will boost streaming performance and topline revenue while building a long-term, invaluable asset for SME.

 Additionally, you will reduce our dependency on partner channels and the high budget associated with using these external channels.

 

What you'll do:

•    Build a comprehensive social media strategy with key stakeholders, execute the strategy, assess for strategic pivots, optimize, report, and ultimately significantly contribute to the International Repertoire department’s annual objectives and revenue goals. 
•    Manage plethora SME Korea owned channels on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
•    Produce short-form videos designed to promote SME repertoire tracks and artists.
•    Work closely with Frontline and Catalog marketing managers to identify content and channel opportunities.
•    Build and support SEO and algorithm optimization strategies based on analytics and local media consumption trends. 
 

Who you are:

•    3-5 years of professional experience in music marketing, social media agency, or relevant industry or field.
•    Exceptional understanding and skills in managing and operating YouTube, Instagram, and other social media channels.
•    Proficient in video editing and design tools such as Adobe Premiere and Photoshop for creating short-form content.
•    Strong ability to analyze data analytics and identify opportunities to optimize social media and content operations. 
•    Passionate, knowledgeable, and curious about international popular music.
•    Digitally and social media savvy, with a strong understanding of the latest local media landscape, popular culture, and viral trends.
•    Proficient in English communication, with a focus on reading and writing..
•    Excellent communication skills to collaborate efficiently with multiple stakeholders, teams, and partners.
•    Proactive by nature, with a passion for proposing new ideas and thinking outside the box.
