Domestic Marketing (Sr.) Officer (Columbia)

The department develops strategies across audio, video, marketing, social, streaming, physical and product development to continually grow listenership for our releases. The Marketing Officer is part of the team responsible for creating compelling marketing campaigns for our frontline roster. You'll be responsible for the planning and executing our priority artist listener and fanbase growth plans mainly on Domestic artists across different markets, engaging new audiences across key marketing channels & partnerships to drive fan growth as well as retain and engage existing audiences. 

What you'll do:

  • Delivery of Artist & Releases Marketing Campaigns and Projects
    Plan & execute best-in-class fan growth campaigns for SMEC frontline artists & Releases and building their listenership in all potential markets (included Greater China & SEA etc).
  • Statistical Analysis
    Gather related statistic of songs and artists to keep track on working process and goal achievement, regular report to manager and discuss with the team on marketing direction
  • Project Development
    Identify and Development potential business partners or media to help company growth in marketing and promotion, maintain relationship with media, KOLs, MCN or all related business partners.
  • Daily promotion execution
    copywriting and idea initiative, artist social media platform Strategy planning and operating ; online and offline promotion event organizing included budget planning & control, event content, KOLs & guests’ invitation, rundown and goal setting.
 

Who you are:

  • At least 5 years of progressive digital marketing experience at music platforms / a record label or other related media/ advertising agency
  • Successful track record on artist or release marketing with solid numbering support. Knowledge of the music streaming landscape, DSP charting and promotion method; experienced on creating hit songs will be highly preferred. 
  • Thorough understanding of the China market music and entertainment marketplace, knowledge on music trends
  • Solid understanding / interest in lifestyle verticals and local entertainment culture.
  • Social Media Obsessed, Demonstrated knowledge experience with social platforms (Douyin, Redbook, Weibo, wechat, bilibili, YouTube, Instagram etc.) and the ecosystem.
  • Ability on data gathering and analyzing, generating insights and provide recommendations
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized, good communicator and stress management.
  • Passionate about Music, especially on Cpop
