Creative Producer

The creative producer brings SME’s artistic vision to life by overseeing the idea creation and post-production of projects and campaigns. He/she organizes and executes innovative marketing strategies via online/on-ground events, content video production (filming, editing and animation), social media fan campaigns, and other fan activations.

He/she would work with various local fan clubs and teams to activate creative engagement for SME International Artists. The new fan initiative will also include building new communities for developing SME International artists.

He/she would look after the social media calendar and roll out on SME SEA’s social platforms, including Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube). This process involves synergizing content within the marketing campaigns, especially regarding goals for building the artists’ profile and repertoire and supporting them in the discovery loop.

He/she coordinates and assists in conceptualization with other collaborators (such as creative agencies, influencers/KOLs, organizations, and local markets’ suppliers) regarding content releases, event and influencer marketing, outdoor advertising, and community engagement.

The Creative Producer is additionally involved in creative marketing aspects such as idea creation and pitch development, marketing collaterals production, visual direction, and copywriting.

What you'll do:

Lead and be part of the conversation and keep it going

  • Be a creative visionary, driving progressive superfan campaigns and inspiring innovation across the Marketing teams. Ideate and implement fan/community engagement strategies.
  • Stay current on pop culture, events, best practices, technologies, TikTok and online trends and understand popular topics at any time to create culturally relevant assets.
  • Respond quickly when a topic is gaining popularity, and create memorable, actionable, and shareable content.
  • Understand audience preferences (what matters to fans, how they consume music and how they want to engage with the artist) and incorporate them into the creative process.
  • Proactively create opportunities for the artist to interact with their fans through various platforms and present them to Digital Marketing.
  • Maintain a relationship with different SEA fan groups for SME International artists.

Translate the artist’s vision into branding outputs

  • Create compelling outputs to deliver the artist’s profile and persona across different media types, including social media and streaming platforms.
  • Facilitate the creative development and oversee the production of creative assets, including print, video, digital, mobile, and social media executions and campaign / release collateral.
  • Oversee the content calendar and the social media strategy rollout for SME International artists.
  • Ensure the external network of third parties understands and creates assets that fit the artist’s profile. 
  • Ensure the creative work is delivered on time, to the required level of quality, and within the estimated budget agreed with the repertoire centre teams.
  • Encourage a high level of creativity among the International Marketing team, ensuring work is innovative, measured, impactful, varied, imaginative and audience-centred.

Build a creative network to enhance SMEs capabilities

  • Manage the creative development process from concept to final delivery.
  • Allocate agencies and negotiate with external suppliers to support the creative process across multiple projects (when required).
  • Work with the insights, data, and analytics team to leverage audience data for creative design.
 

Who you are:

  • 5+ years’ experience managing creative campaigns from ideation to execution in the music/entertainment/film or similar creative industries.
  • Passionate about the music and entertainment business and desire to build a creative career in the industry.
  • Thorough understanding of how the various technologies that drive music consumption work and how to use them to create content and drive audience/fan engagement.
  • Ability to plan and organize internal and external resources to deliver the agreed outcomes for various projects within the agreed quality timeframe and budget.
  • Ability to generate new and valuable ideas and execute them through various media and digital and non-digital platforms.
  • Ability to articulate an idea or point of view verbally or in writing succinctly, with clarity and confidence, adapting the message to different audiences.
  • You are hungry to learn and grow. You are curious, ask questions and get excited about new projects.
  • Have a “can-do” attitude and see obstacles as opportunities to find alternative ways to do things and grow, demonstrating resourcefulness and flexibility
  • Fluent in English.
  • Have a thorough understanding of lifestyle and cultural trends.
