Sales Manager/Supervisor, Special Project

Asia & Middle East, China

We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Sales Manager to enhance our sales force, his/her key mission is to grow revenue streams, and explore strategic partnerships in the rapidly evolving music and entertainment market in China.
The ideal candidate should have a robust network within music and brand agency industry, and a proven track record in sales and partnership development.

What you'll do:

Partnership Development:

  • Seek strategic partnerships with platforms; develop and implement strategies to enhance the label's brand presence.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with partners to maximize revenue.
  • Be a good team player with Special Project team, assist communication with internal departments to align sales goals with marketing campaigns, releases, and promotional events.
  • Work closely with marketing and creative teams to synchronize projects and resources and assist project execution.

Brand & Sponsorship Development:

  • Do regular market research and understand company artist roster, develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence, including brand endorsement, live events, physical product and merchandise sales.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential brand and sponsorship clients.
  • Explore and identify collaborative music IP project opportunities that align with the label's vision.
  • Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to ensure success.
 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably within the music, entertainment, or media industry.
  • Team player, have proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with fluency in Mandarin and proficiency in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse clients and partners.
  • Strategic thinker who knows the market trends and develop actionable plans.
