A&R and Digital Operation Manager (Liquid State)

Asia & Middle East, Hong Kong, Hong Kong

He/She is responsible to provide operation support for the digital operations and A&R teams, while collaborating with other internal teams across offices.

What you'll do:

•    Work with department heads to manage and coordinate the progress of the A&R team, to ensure that the goals of the A&R team are met and in sync with the overall goals of the company.
•    Production Management: Scheduling and monitoring of production process and artist engagements
•    Searching and approach artists who with market potential, and assist the company in new signing negotiations.
•    Budget tracking and management of procurement, PO, invoicing and label copy processes.
•    Update weekly tracker of production and release schedules.
•    Liaising, “brainstorming” and meeting with internal teams to discuss A&R strategies;
•    Demonstrate a good ear for the music that will help the artist/s success and be able to identify the singles that will be hits and provide creative feedback. 
•    Ingestion/delivery of assets to DSPs
•    Process with digital Ops team with allow listing, claiming, take down, and release of digital assets
•    Support Partner Operations team on external partner requests including release troubleshooting, triggering redeliveries and partner communications
•    Any other duties assigned by the Company and/or GM
•    Collaborate with internal teams – A&R, marketing, sales teams, business development – and drive actionable insights.
•    Understand data sources and systems to ensure data integrity and report accuracy

Who you are:

•    At least 4 years of progressive experience at a record label or other related music companies
•    The ideal candidate has a passion for current music and supporting local talent with keen attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. 
•    Fluent Chinese/English speakers. strong and effective communication skills, candidates with expertise in presentation and public speaking.
•    Knowledge and experience in the music industry, with strong understanding of recording, production, creative, business affairs, copyrights, music publishing, and general knowledge of digital marketing, social media, content, streaming landscape, and key industry players.
•    The ability to manage time and priorities, set and achieve goals and juggle multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously is required
•    Must be highly organized and capable of developing and keeping to a project timeline.
•    Creative, self-starter with exceptional follow-up skills.
