IT Infrastructure Manager
The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and user support systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring system availability, security, and performance, while overseeing incident resolution, service requests, and system monitoring.
What you'll do:
- Oversee day-to-day IT Infrastructure operations ensuring systems and services maintain high availability, reliability, and optimal performance. This includes proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
- Efficiently track, manage, and resolve support tickets, incidents, and service requests, ensuring high levels of user satisfaction and minimal downtime
- Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance of servers and ensuring storage and back up requirements
- Ensure all IT infrastructure activities comply with global policies, industry best practices, and regulatory standards to maintain consistency, security, and risk mitigation
- Oversee security protocols, tools, and procedures to safeguard networks, servers, and critical IT systems from potential threats, breaches, and vulnerabilities
- Manage procurement, maintenance, and replenishment of IT hardware and software
- Smooth Vendor Management and ensure high quality services.
- Plan and execute BCP and DR activities as required
Who you are:
- 6-8 years of experience in infrastructure management and support.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or BE, Working knowledge of ITIL, CCNA (desirable)
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux/Unix, VMware/Hyper-V virtualization, and Active Directory management.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Expertise in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, VPNs, LAN/WAN design, Cisco networking (routers, switches, firewalls), and network security.
- Strong understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, VPNs.
- Expertise in DRP, BCP, failover systems, and ensuring business continuity.
- Exposure to O365, SharePoint.
- Understanding of current and emerging technologies
- Proficiency in technical documentation, network diagrams and report
