Senior Accountant (Expression of Interest)

What you'll do:

  • Prepare month-end journal entries and ensure submission of financial reports in accordance with group timelines
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and monthly variance analysis
  • Coordinate with the shared service center on OTC, PTP, and RTR processes to support accurate and timely financial close
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable, ensuring proper revenue recognition
  • Review VAT and WHT filings to ensure compliance with local Thai tax regulations
  • Support monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, including digital sales/IP input, forecast packs, and budget submissions
  • Prepare artist project P&Ls and conduct profitability analysis for management reviews
  • Provide financial analysis and advisory support to the General Manager and department heads on new business opportunities, deal projections, and strategic decisions
  • Assist in preparing financial content for management presentations and regional business reviews
  • Submit industry reports (e.g., market share reports to IFPI) as required
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants during statutory audits and tax periods; prepare and review required documentation
  • Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements
  • Collaborate closely with the SEA regional finance hub based in Singapore to ensure alignment and consistency
  • Supervise, coach, and support the development of local accounting team members

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred
  • At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
  • Audit background (Big 4 or reputable audit firm experience) is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Thai GAAP and IFRS, with a solid understanding of local tax, WHT, and VAT regulations
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP and Business Warehouse; familiarity with digital finance tools and automation is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
  • Proven ability to manage month-end close and reporting processes under tight deadlines in a dynamic, multinational environment
  • Effective communicator in both English and Thai, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization and across markets
  • A passion for music industry is a strong plus
