Compensation: Paid Internship

Work Arrangement: At least 4 days a week in office requirement, 9AM to 5PM, up to 37.5 hours a week

Job Description

The People Experience department is responsible for all aspects of the employee lifecycle along with Diversity Equity & Inclusion and Philanthropy initiatives. We are looking for an exceptional intern to join the team on a short-term basis. As a People Experience intern, you will have the opportunity to observe and assist in the day-to-day activities of the People Experience team.

The Role

The Intern, People eXperience will:

  • Conduct archiving for confidential digital and physical HR records to ensure all records are stored in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Oversee the content management and functionality of internal and external SharePoint sites, ensuring they serve as effective tools for information sharing and collaboration.
  • Assist in day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including preparing documentation, communications, reports, and updating information databases.
  • Support DEI and Philanthropy initiatives across the Canadian business. 
  • Support with organizing office-wide events from coordination to execution.
  • Provide coverage to the reception area as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc tasks as needed.

Ideal Candidate

  • Currently enrolled in a legal studies degree program.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and be a self-starter.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Ability to perform work with accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to take the initiative, solve problems and multi-task.
