
Senior Digital Marketing Manager, International Marketing UK
As a Senior Digital Manager for Sony Music UK's International marketing team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how our artists connect with global audiences in the digital space. You'll lead innovative digital marketing strategies that amplify our artists' voices and help them reach new heights in an ever-evolving digital landscape. You'll be a trendsetter who can identify and capitalize on emerging digital opportunities, particularly in developing markets where our artists are yet to establish a strong presence. Your role will be crucial in building momentum from the ground up, requiring both strategic foresight and tactical excellence.
What you'll do:
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies across social platforms that drive audience growth and engagement
- Create and oversee digital advertising campaigns, ensuring effective budget allocation and ROI tracking
- Build and nurture relationships with domestic labels in the UK and with international teams in market to ensure aligned digital strategy execution
- Pioneer innovative digital strategies to create early momentum in emerging markets, utilizing data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities
- Develop and execute market entry strategies that align with local digital consumption patterns and cultural nuances
- Work closely with our Content Creator Manager to build and nurture strategic partnerships with influencers and content creators to amplify our artists' reach
- Monitor and analyse emerging global digital trends to ensure our strategies remain ahead of the curve
- Lead first-party data acquisition initiatives, developing strategies to collect and leverage valuable audience insights while ensuring compliance with data protection regulations
- Facilitate open communication channels between markets and labels to ensure seamless campaign coordination
Who you are:
- You have demonstrable experience in digital marketing at a music label, specifically within an international team environment.
- You bring established digital marketing experience with a track record of growing engaged audiences
- You're an excellent communicator who builds trust and solidarity across international teams
- An excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator who works well with team members, external partners, and senior management
- You’re open minded and embrace, support and inspire innovation through a creative and collaborative approach
- You have sound cross-functional collaboration skills and can navigate diverse cultural environments
