
Creative Marketing Intern - Music for Nations

As the Intern at Music for Nations, you will be helping to grow our specialist department and collaborating across many areas of the company, by bringing their own unique perspective to the label – this is a hands on, broad role, where there are a lot of opportunities to make it your own and run with projects. We want you to play to your strengths, develop skills and grow as an industry professional – we’re here to support you from the first rung to the next.
What you'll do:
- Provide general administrative support to the team, correspondence, ordering stationery, promo stock, creating purchase orders, answering general enquiries and ticket ordering etc. but don’t worry – the creative part outweighs this!
- Be an ‘ambassador’ for the department and Work closely with marketing teams and other areas of the business to find out about new releases, new signings, remixes etc
- General communication with artists, management and third-party suppliers (where applicable)
- Be aware of market developments, new technologies, market conditions – having your ear to the ground is a huge asset!
- Digitally savvy – from socials to streaming
- Suggest content, concepts and creative ideas for artists campaigns - Create assets such as banners, gifs and skins, and manage band socials and have an overall creative and culturally led approach - experience in digital content creation is useful
- Become proficient with analytics tools (Facebook, Twitter, Spotify, YouTube and Google) and maintain weekly reports
- Become the point of contact for fans, websites and communities
- Attend sales meetings to find out about forthcoming releases, campaigns, etc. Take minutes and isolate action points
- Creating behind the scenes content on photo and video shoots, as well as general online and social content
Who you are:
- Have a passion for music and broad understanding of different genres
- An understanding of the music genres that Music for Nations work with
- Creative and cultural awareness
- An interest in media and technology
- A flexible can-do attitude
- Quick and eager to learn - No fear of hard work!
- Interpersonal and networking skills
- A broad world view
- Adobe Suite experience would be a plus - Photoshop and Premier Pro
