Ceremony of Roses is seeking a Director, Ecommerce Operations to own the end-to-end digital commerce experience across artist and brand storefronts. This role carries full accountability for both the consumer-facing ecommerce experience and the operational foundations that enable scale, including inventory visibility, ERP integrations, and order flow. The Director is responsible for site performance, conversion, and fan experience, while setting direction across technology, operations, and commercial teams to ensure ecommerce platforms are tightly integrated with backend systems and supply chain workflows. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on ownership of live, consumer-facing ecommerce experiences.
What you'll do:
- Own the consumer-facing ecommerce experience across web and mobile, including homepage, collection pages, product detail pages, cart, and checkout.
- Set and execute front-end ecommerce strategy, including merchandising, content updates, promotions, and artist drops.
- Define and direct site layouts, navigation, and visual merchandising in partnership with design and UX teams, ensuring alignment with artist and brand objectives.
- Drive conversion rate optimization through testing, UX improvements, and data-informed iteration.
- Establish and own ecommerce roadmaps that balance platform capabilities, operational constraints, and customer experience priorities.
- Lead front-end enhancements, CMS-driven updates, and feature launches in close partnership with engineering and technology teams.
- Own inventory visibility and ecommerce operational readiness, ensuring accurate, real-time stock representation across storefronts.
- Be accountable for ERP integrations, order management workflows, and ecommerce data integrity in partnership with operations and finance.
- Ensure end-to-end system integration between ecommerce platforms, fulfillment, inventory, and financial systems to support scale and reliability.
- Own performance against key ecommerce KPIs, including conversion rate, average order value, funnel drop-off, and site performance.
- Activate onsite experiences in support of fan acquisition, retention, and lifecycle initiatives alongside marketing, CRM, and growth teams.
- Serve as the primary consumer advocate in platform and technical decision-making, ensuring backend solutions enable front-end excellence.
Who you are:
- Proven ecommerce leader with direct ownership of consumer-facing digital commerce experiences.
- Strong point of view on front-end UX, merchandising, and consumer behavior.
- Demonstrated experience owning inventory systems, ERP integrations, and order management workflows.
- Data-driven, with a track record of using analytics and experimentation to drive measurable performance improvements.
- Comfortable operating close to live sites while leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Collaborative, decisive, and accountable, with the ability to balance long-term strategy and day-to-day execution.
