We are seeking a highly skilled and data-driven Platform Optimization Specialist/Digital Strategy professional to join our Commercial & Strategy Team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth, performance, and strategic development of our audio and video streaming platforms. You’ll leverage insights, analytics, and industry trends to optimize content strategy, increase viewership/consumption, boost engagement, and enhance platforms’ monetization.
What You'll Do:
Strategy & Optimization:
- Optimize metadata, release copy, artwork, tags, keywords, and other elements that drive discoverability on platforms such as Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, etc.
- Analyze platform performance (audio and video streaming platforms) and identify opportunities to improve fan experience, engagement, and overall performance.
- Use data and insights to optimize for repeat listens, saves, shares, and completion rates.
- Own day-to-day management of official YouTube channels for artists and label brands.
- Develop YouTube-first content strategies to maximize channel growth and audience engagement.
- Create & manage a content calendar and posting schedule to maintain a consistent flow of engaging video content. Recommend formats, posting times, and strategies based on viewer behavior and analytics.
- Provide internal stakeholders updates during and post campaign: what worked, learnings, what to imp
- A/B test thumbnails, titles, and publishing times to improve video performance.
Paid Campaign Management:
- Set up and optimize direct & programmatic platform ad campaigns, making sure creatives are correct, targeting is set up properly, delivery pacing (impressions, budget) is on track.
- Develop and run A/B tests on ad creatives, landing pages, CTAs, and audience segments.
- Use test results to inform future campaign decisions.
Cross-Platform & Monetization Strategy:
- Align YouTube strategy with broader digital goals across TikTok, Instagram, and streaming platforms
- Ensure monetization settings are optimized and all revenue streams are activated.
- Track KPIs including views, watch time, engagement, CTR, audience retention, and revenue performance.
- Collaborate with marketing, commercial, and artist teams to build integrated campaigns across YouTube Shorts, Community tab, and long-form content.
- Stay current on YouTube algorithm updates, best practices, and emerging trends.

Who You Are:
Requirements:
- Data analysis; knowledge of streaming behavior; understanding of DSPs; cross-territory and global strategy; budget management.
- Deep understanding of digital streaming & video platforms; good analytics; knowledge of CMS / YouTube tools; optimization techniques; & best practices.
- Attention to detail. Good organization. Learning mindset.
- Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms, SEO, and audience engagement techniques.
- Proven experience in building and managing successful YouTube channels.
- 2-3 years of experience around metadata, streaming content, SEO, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and cross-promotion strategies.
- Previous experience in the music industry, media agencies, or record labels.
- Familiarity with DSP dashboards (Spotify for Artists, Amazon Music for Artists, Apple Music for Artists, Loudspeaker)
