As a Financial Analyst, Ceremony of Roses, you will be a member of the Sony Music Global Finance team with a primary focus on Accounts Payable (AP) operations. In this role, you will analyze vendor transactions, ensure timely and accurate invoice processing, and support month-end close through AP reconciliation and reporting. You will work closely with procurement, operations, and accounting to maintain accurate financial records, streamline invoice workflows, and uphold internal controls. Your analytical skills will help identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improving our AP processes.
Beyond day-to-day AP responsibilities, this position also supports broader financial analysis tasks, including assisting with pricing analysis, budgeting tracking, and expense reporting. The Financial Analyst will be expected to provide data-driven insights, develop dashboards or reports as needed, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial decision-making. What you'll do:
- Lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of accounts payable operations and procedures.
- Conduct margin analysis on our various revenue channels, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the company’s bottom line.
- Conduct and oversee budget requests from the production team to ensure timely payments to our vendors.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external vendors, ensuring efficient payments and resolution of key payable matters.
- Assist with special projects spanning global finance operations, compliance, reporting initiatives, and strategic priorities for Ceremony of Roses.
- Conduct and oversee the processing of supply and intercompany invoices.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- 1-3+ years of finance/accounting experience, including experience managing accounts payable responsibilities.
- Experience with Microsoft applications including but not limited to Excel and Outlook.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex issues to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.
- Highly collaborative leader with the ability to manage multiple high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.
