Marketing Manager, Catalogue

The Marketing Manager, Catalogue is responsible for developing and executing impactful marketing campaigns that maximise the visibility, cultural relevance, and commercial performance of Sony Music’s catalogue repertoire. Working across local and international priorities, the role partners closely with artists, management, international teams and internal departments to drive audience engagement, streaming growth and long-term catalogue value across digital, physical and emerging platforms.

Reporting to the Director, Catalogue, this role plays a key part in bringing catalogue campaigns to life - balancing creative storytelling, audience development, digital innovation and commercial thinking to ensure Sony Music’s catalogue continues to connect with both existing and new generations of fans.

 

What you'll do:

  • Manage a roster of catalogue artists and projects, acting as the day-to-day marketing lead and key internal point of contact.
  • Develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns that drive revenue, audience growth and long-term artist value.
  • Identify opportunities within Sony’s young catalogue, trending/reactive tracks and domestic roster.
  • Collaborate closely with Domestic and International marketing teams, international repertoire owners and global teams on campaign strategy and execution.
  • Work cross-functionally with Digital, Audience, Creative, Commercial, Legal, Publicity, Radio, Licensing and Analytics teams to deliver impactful campaigns.
  • Leverage data, audience insights and cultural trends to identify opportunities and optimise campaign performance.
  • Successfully channel Catalogue engagement into meaningful growth on CRM channels and e-comm sales.
  • Contribute to the development of creative campaign ideas, digital activations and strategic marketing opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with artists, management teams and key internal stakeholders.
  • Create insightful campaign reporting that educates the broader departments on where collaborative opportunities lie.
  • Bring an innovative, collaborative and solutions-focused mindset to the role, with a willingness to experiment, adapt and learn in a fast-moving environment.

 

Who you are:

  • 4+ years’ experience in music, entertainment, media or a related marketing environment.
  • Passionate about music, culture, audience behaviour and digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of how fans engage with artists, songs, albums, playlists and content across platforms.
  • Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across artists, management and internal stakeholders, locally or internationally.
  • Creative thinker with an instinct for storytelling, audience engagement and culturally relevant marketing.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively across departments and contributing to a team-first environment.
  • Curious, proactive and eager to learn, with a genuine enthusiasm for catalogue repertoire and artist development.
  • Strong understanding of digital and social platforms, audience growth and modern music marketing ecosystems.
