As the Senior Director, Commercial Partnerships, you will play a key role in strategy for growing Sony Music Nashville's artists across DSPs and commercial partners. You'll secure visibility and editorial support, build campaigns that drive discovery and streaming growth, and help develop new revenue opportunities. Reporting to the SVP, Commercial Partnerships, you'll be a primary point of contact for key partners and a strategic voice across the label.

What you'll do:

  • Own and deepen relationships with DSP and commercial partners to maximize exposure for priorities
  • Lead pitching strategy for new releases and current priorities, using internal data to build compelling cases for editorial, marketing, and programming support.
  • Build playlist and campaign plans that grow fans for new and established artists, both on streaming services and beyond them.
  • Help execute commercial campaigns that add revenue on top of streaming for artists and the label.
  • Weave artist and partner opportunities around key cultural and country-format moments such as CMA Fest, holiday, and tentpole releases.
  • Work efficiently with other departments to align strategy and goals for our artists and releases.
  • Act as an ambassador for the SMN roster internally, with management, and with partners.
  • Track and report on campaign performance and manage budgets where applicable.

Who you are:

  • 8+ years of music industry experience across streaming, editorial, playlisting, partner relationships, and/or commercial or retail partnerships.
  • Established relationships with key DSP and commercial partners.
  • Strong analytical skills. You're comfortable with streaming and consumption data (e.g., Luminate, platform analytics) and can turn insights into strategy and pitches.
  • Commercially versatile across formats: streaming, physical, D2C, and retail.
  • A strategic thinker who can also execute, managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving release schedule.
  • A collaborative, positive leader who influences across teams and with senior partners.
  • Knowledge of and passion for country music and the Nashville community is a plus.
