THE ROLE
This position will work closely with the Global Head of Business Development, acting as a critical link between the head, the Business Development organization and the rest of the company. The individual will conduct analysis to contribute to defining the strategic agenda and serve as the key project manager in executing initiatives, in direct partnership with the Global Head of Business Development. They will also lead existing business operations and processes improvement projects. The ideal candidate must possess a critical mindset, be a creative and results-driven thinker, an excellent problem solver, and have strong interpersonal skills.
- Collaborate with the Global Head of Business Development and leadership to shape the strategic agenda.
- Drive a data-driven approach to support the agenda and organization.
- Coordinate the development of processes and systems to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Prepare and review reports, presentations, and other decision-making materials for the Global Head of Business Development
- Act as a sounding board to the Global Head of Business Development for new ideas and initiatives.
- Produce miscellaneous reports, research and analysis material for decision-making purposes.
- Build and maintain a repository of Business Development materials for use within the
- Track progress of initiatives against plan
- Liaise with key select vendors in partnership with Operations and Finance.
- Engage sporadically in personal business development and relationship management initiatives.
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
- 7+ years of professional experience ideally in a consultative and/or project management role within data-driven environment.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact and discretion.
- Exposure and/or experience with business development within relationship-driven business a plus.
- Possession of strong interactive skills in order to foster collaboration.
- Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to drive multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Outstanding analytical, presentation and writing skills.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
The proposed base salary for this position ranges from $115,000 -$150,000. In addition to base salary successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus, as well as a competitive benefits package. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
