THE ROLE
The Administrator is responsible for general administrative tasks for the department and to provide administrative support primarily to the Head of Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
General Administrative Tasks
- Assist in producing internal reports for departmental strategy and business purposes
- Manage Departmental Invoicing and Fee Tracking
- Assist in managing Departmental Inbox
- Assist in managing General Inquiries
- Manage miscellaneous reporting requests from internal and external colleagues
- Monitor supply of binding materials, paper, mailing materials daily and stationary and execute order when needed
- Manage DocuSign
Account Management Support/Account Administration
- Provide daily project support primarily to the Head of Department, which includes but is not limited to: assisting with travel arrangements, setting up valuation visits, cross referencing data for valuations projects, gathering of images from specialists following visits and routing property to be valued and following up, preparing documents for the High Lot Review, submitting edits to the Production team, pulling outputs as requested, preparing final document for sign off and filing final valuation
- Provide support for High Lot Reviews (gather supporting documentation, create grouping, verify that all comps are in, chase comps)
- Prepare finals and mailings (printing, binding and sending final drafts, UPS labels)
- Filing final valuation—including printing finals, uploading agreements, ensuring that all documentation is printed for the work file
- “Quick edits” for fast turnaround projects that can’t be submitted to Production
- Client account and valuation agreement creation as requested
- Management of desktop appraisal updates
- Other administrative ad hoc projects as assigned by the Head of Department and Associate Valuation Directors

- Exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills in particular MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and under pressure
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Ability to think laterally and creatively
The proposed base salary for this position ranges from $45,000-$50,000. In addition to base salary successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus, as well as a competitive benefits package. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
