The SoundCloud summer internship program is a 10-week paid internship starting in June and ending in August. Our DEI-focused program is designed to create sustainable pipelines to invest in SoundCloud’s future, discover new, diverse talent at all levels, and develop future leaders who will contribute to all business areas. Interns will be fully immersed in the team, receiving opportunities to enhance their skills, and contribute to our mission. 

Furthermore, interns will receive various professional and personal development opportunities, like mentorship programming, fireside chats with senior leadership, innovative stretch assignments, and the chance to participate in networking events with other SoundCloud employees across the organization.

SoundCloud is looking for an Accounting intern to join our Shared Service Accounting team. They will work closely with the team to support daily accounting operations, assist in monthly closing processes, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help organize physical archives in preparation for the move to our new office 
  • Assist with processing and reconciling employee expense reports
  • Help manage and monitor company credit card usage and monthly reconciliations
  • Support travel booking processes by coordinating with our external travel provider
  • Ensure compliance with internal Travel & Expenses (T&E) policies and flag exceptions
  • Assist employees with expense or reimbursement questions
  • Ensuring timely delivery of month-end close activities related to T&E
  • Help identify and improve process efficiencies and reporting tools

Experience and Background:

  • Interest in Accounting, Finance, Business Management
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, comfortable working with accounting software and basic knowledge of SQL
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and grow within the accounting and finance fields

Internship applications must be submitted by April 4th, 2025.

The summer internship program will be 10 weeks from June 2nd, 2025 - August 8th, 2025 (these dates are not flexible). This is a full-time internship and will be based out of our Berlin office. In-person attendance from Monday - Friday is required for this role.
