Senior Project Manager, Network and Security

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with experience running networking and cybersecurity focused projects to become a key member of our team. This individual will focus on ensuring both timely delivery and thoughtful implementation of new technology, features, and frameworks. This is a high impact, cross-functional role.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide project management support for internal data and engineering projects and possibly interface with external vendors

  • Develop and/or maintain scripts and code in support of data and engineering projects, including but not limited to language data management efforts

  • Work with engineering teams to scope technical projects, create high level roadmaps, determine resource requirements, and define milestones and timelines 

  • Create and/or utilize existing systems for prioritization, dependency, and risk management

  • Initiate and facilitate ongoing collection of input from management, the project team, and relevant product teams

  • Manage project meetings and documentation using Jira, Confluence, and Google products

  • Collaborate effectively and continually work to set expectations and improve project visibility

  • Adopt, improve upon, and create new tools and processes, establish metrics and operational best practices

  • Maintain ongoing status updates and regular communication with management

  • Foster a culture of productivity and professionalism, motivating the project team and promoting best practices

We would love to hear from you if:

  • You have a minimum of 5-8 years experience and demonstrable success defining and/or managing the complete project lifecycle

  • You are proficient with Atlassian and Google products and can successfully implement all aspects of agile

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • You have your PMP or an equivalent certification

  • You are a skilled problem solver with a good understanding of systems 

  • You are able to successfully navigate ambiguity and manage change in aspects of cross-team projects including resources, priorities, risks, and dependencies

  • You exercise extreme attention to detail and can break down ambiguous requests or tasks

  • You work independently and know when to follow escalation paths

  • You are dedicated, reliable, and consistent with follow through


This position is available for remote work across most of the United States. (** SoundHound AI DOES NOT offer employment in Alabama, Alaska, Delaware, Iowa, Maine, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Regardless of workplace arrangement, employees within a 60-mile radius of a SoundHound AI office are expected to work from the office on three pre-scheduled, company-wide “core days” per month to encourage cross-team connection and in-person collaboration.

The estimated salary for this position is $97,500 - $124,000 plus equity. In addition to salary and equity, you will receive comprehensive healthcare, paid time off, and other benefits. Our recruiting team will provide a specific salary range based on location and years of experience.
