Loan Investing Team (Credit Analyst)

Sound Point Capital Management, a diversified credit investment manager overseeing approximately $45 billion in total assets, is seeking a credit analyst to help support the growth of its €7 billion European Performing Credit platform.

This analyst will help formulate recommendations on new leveraged loan and high yield bond investment opportunities and be responsible for the credit analysis of a few different industry sectors.

Sound Point has a diverse product line which includes CLOs and various funds that invest in stressed and distressed credit, commercial real estate, structured products, consumer loans, and corporate special situations. Based in New York, the firm employs more than 200 talented individuals and has grown steadily since inception.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct fundamental credit analysis on EUR leveraged loans and high yield
• Build and maintain financial models to track companies rated below investment
• Articulate and support investment recommendations to the Investment
• Monitor existing positions and make recommendations for relative value

Requirements:

• Strong academic
• 2-6 years of credit analysis / leveraged finance
• Prior CLO experience a
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and
