About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong architecture capabilities to design and operate scalable, production-grade data platforms.

This role goes beyond building pipelines — you will own the end-to-end data lifecycle (ingestion → transformation → serving), design robust data architectures (warehouse + lake/lakehouse), and make strategic decisions around performance, cost optimization, governance, and scalability.

You will work directly with stakeholders and clients, translating business requirements into reliable data solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement scalable data architectures (data lake, warehouse, or lakehouse patterns).

• Build and maintain production-grade data pipelines using Python.

• Develop advanced SQL transformations and robust data models.

• Design orchestration workflows (Airflow or similar tools).

• Implement real-time and streaming architectures when required.

• Optimize performance and cloud costs across the data platform.

• Own infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Ensure data governance, security, access control, and lifecycle management.

• Collaborate with cross-functional and client-facing stakeholders.

• Support ML workflows, feature stores, and data consumption layers when applicable.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.

• Advanced SQL skills and deep expertise in data modeling (warehouse + lake/lakehouse).

• Strong Python skills with experience building production-ready pipelines.

• Proven experience designing scalable data platform architectures.

• Deep experience in at least one major cloud ecosystem (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow or similar).

• Strong knowledge of performance tuning and cloud cost optimization.

• Experience managing the full data lifecycle (ingestion → transformation → serving).

• Experience with streaming and real-time data architectures.

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Solid understanding of data governance, security, and access management.

• Stakeholder management and client-facing experience.

• Fluent communication skills (written and verbal).

• English level B2+ (must be comfortable leading technical discussions).

Nice to Have

• Experience with ML pipelines and feature stores.

• Experience in regulated industries (healthcare).

• Exposure to large-scale distributed systems.
