About the Role

We’re looking for a Mid-Level Data Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines in a cloud-based environment.

This role is ideal for someone with solid hands-on experience in SQL and Python who has worked with ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud data platforms. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver reliable and well-structured data solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Develop and optimize data models in cloud-based data warehouses.
• Work with Azure and modern data stack tools.
• Support orchestration workflows (Airflow, Prefect, or similar).
• Collaborate with Data Science teams to support ML pipelines.
• Implement basic data quality checks and testing practices.
• Contribute to performance and cost optimization efforts.
• Follow version control best practices (Git) and clean coding standards.
• Participate in client-facing discussions when needed.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong SQL skills and solid data modeling fundamentals.
• Solid Python skills for data processing.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure preferred).
• Experience working with data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, or similar).
• Experience with Git and good software engineering practices.
• English level B2+ (comfortable in meetings and written communication).

Nice to Have

• Experience with streaming tools (Kafka, Pub/Sub).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
• Basic knowledge of data quality frameworks and testing.
• Experience collaborating with Data Science teams.
• Understanding of cost and performance optimization principles.
