About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Customer Engineer at the tech lead level for its Customer Engineering team. You'll support customers on the Ascend 2.0 platform, starting with one account and growing to more Ascend 2.0 customers over time. You'll be the technical lead and escalation point for a small team, working directly with clients on data issues, root cause analysis and production support.

What You’ll Do

• Lead technical work for customers on Ascend 2.0, starting with one account

• Act as the escalation point for a small team of engineers

• Work directly with clients on data issues, root cause analysis and production support

• Build and maintain AWS data pipelines using Python and SQL

• Take on additional Ascend 2.0 customers over time

Required Qualifications

•  7+ years in data engineering

• Hands-on experience building AWS data pipelines

• Strong Python and SQL

• Experience leading technical work and serving as the escalation point for a small team

• Comfort working directly with clients on data issues, root cause analysis and production support

• Meaningful overlap with US Eastern business hours

• Advanced English (C1): able to lead technical discussions, write clear documentation and work directly with US-based stakeholders

Nice to Have

•  Pharma or life sciences commercial data experience (specialty pharmacy, hub, payer)

• Apache Spark (PySpark), Amazon S3 (Parquet) and Athena

• Airflow (DAGs, scheduling, backfills)

• dbt
