NOC Engineer

South Star Software Pvt Ltd is seeking highly skilled technicians to join its Managed Services team supporting Advanced Services Repair (ASR). This role is responsible for managing complex repair tickets, providing client-facing technical support, and owning escalations through resolution across multiple network and voice technologies. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong troubleshooting expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to independently manage high-priority incidents in a fast-paced environment.

 

Required Technical Proficiencies:

  • Problem analysis, troubleshooting and root cause investigation with partner carriers for broadband and DS1+ services
  • Ownership of partner carrier circuits, including escalation management and resolution coordination
  • Fixed wireless support (Digi/Cradlepoint/Sierra routers)
  • Voice Technologies including POTS and POTS in a Box (PIAB)
  • Analyze, diagnose, and remediate complex customer issues end-to-end through final resolution

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to provide the highest level of technical support to internal and external customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and service issues
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams
  • Experience with enterprise network, voice, and SD-WAN solutions

 

Base Requirements:

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years in a network/telecom repair or escalation role, or 3–5 years in a Tier 2/3 Managed Services environment

B.S. and/or M.S. in CS or related field a plus

Networking certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or equivalent vendor certifications a plus
