RF Test Specialist - Gateways (Starlink)
SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.
RF TEST SPECIALIST – GATEWAYS (STARLINK)
Starlink is committed to delivering fast, reliable internet to populations with little or no connectivity. We design, build, launch, and operate the world's largest satellite constellation, enabling a global internet network unbounded by traditional ground infrastructure limitations. Starlink also designs, builds, and delivers high-volume consumer hardware that enables users to connect to these satellites within minutes of unboxing, as well as our advanced gateways deployed regionally worldwide. The root of SpaceX's success so far lies in our mission to keep all engineering and production in-house, which enables a tight feedback loop, nimble decision-making, and speedy deliverables. With millions of daily users worldwide already online, Starlink is truly a game-changer and levels the playing field for those who were previously unconnected.
RF Test Specialists play a critical role in the design process by providing engineers with input on the independent operation and maintenance of resources. They are primarily responsible for constructing, operating, and maintaining test systems. As a Gateway RF Test Specialist, you will commission multiple test systems for production line use, troubleshoot test issues, and own first-level triage and disposition of hardware failures. In this role, you will work hands-on with cutting-edge radio and power hardware, as well as the production equipment that builds it.
