About Spark Advisors

We're building healthcare tech for a system that desperately needs it.

Each year, millions of Americans deal with confusing changes to their Medicare plans that impact their prescriptions, access to care, and pocketbooks. These aren’t just inconveniences – they are potentially life-altering changes that leave seniors medically and financially vulnerable.

Independent Medicare advisors play a crucial role in guiding seniors through this complexity and helping them find the right coverage for their needs. But their ability to be effective healthcare advocates has long been hamstrung by broken tools and outdated systems.

Spark is fixing that. We’re the fastest-growing Medicare platform in the country, combining AI, an industry-leading CRM, and client services to transform how 8,000+ brokers acquire, enroll, and support clients in their local communities.

Join a talent-dense team from Square, Ramp, Yext, Oscar, and Cedar — backed by Primary Ventures and Viewpoint Ventures — that is serious about building technology to expand access to quality healthcare. We offer remote work, sabbaticals, company retreats, and other generous benefits that earned us recognition as one of Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces of 2025

Healthcare is overdue for innovation. Let’s redefine what its future looks like — together.

Summary

Spark is building toward a simple but ambitious goal: be the source of truth for our partners’ business reporting and help Spark teams make faster, more confident operational decisions.

As Senior Data Product Manager, Data Platform & Infrastructure, you’ll own the product strategy and execution for the data foundation that powers reporting, operational workflows, and decision-making across Spark. You’ll treat datasets, pipelines, and data access as products; with clear users, definitions, reliability expectations, and adoption goals.

This isn’t just “dashboards.” It’s building the trusted data layer those dashboards (and product experiences) depend on.

What You'll Do

  • Own canonical datasets and definitions across core domains (production, contracting, commissions, compliance, partner performance).
  • Define and maintain clear metric semantics (including messy “in-between” operational states) so internal and partner-facing reporting stays consistent.
  • Drive self-serve data access: reduce ad hoc requests, tribal knowledge, and manual lookups by turning repeat needs into scalable data products.
  • Lead cross-functional discovery with stakeholders across Account Management, Contracting, Support, Compliance, Finance, and Product; translating workflow pain into concrete data requirements and shipped solutions.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to design durable data models from complex carrier/vendor signals and to improve reliability, monitoring, and data quality where it matters.
  • Partner with Analytics on dashboard UX and iteration, ensuring outputs are actionable and map to real workflows (not just charts).
  • Align internal reporting and product surfaces so teams and partners see a consistent “shared truth.”
  • Own prioritization and execution across teams - balancing speed, accuracy, completeness, and trust.

Example projects you might lead

  • Building trusted partner reporting foundations for production, contracting, and commissions.
  • Improving Ready-to-Sell / contracting transparency through normalized statuses and clearer operational visibility.
  • Creating commission reconciliation data products that are explainable and auditable back to carrier inputs.
  • Developing compliance dashboards and leading indicators that support investigative workflows during AEP and beyond.
  • Enabling internal teams with self-serve access to raw / intermediate data with guardrails and documentation.
  • Defining and operationalizing leadership KPIs so methodology changes don’t create whiplash or confusion.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including meaningful ownership of data products (data platforms, metrics layers, pipelines, reporting foundations, or internal data tools).
  • Strong technical fluency: you can write SQL, reason about schemas and joins, and spot correctness/definition issues.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity: you can turn messy inputs into crisp definitions, roadmaps, and shipped systems.
  • Proven cross-functional leadership (Engineering, Analytics, Finance/Ops/Compliance/Support) without relying on authority.
  • High bar for product craft: clear requirements, clear definitions, and intentional rollouts that drive adoption and trust.

Nice to have

  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, fintech, or other regulated/data-complex domains.
  • Partner-facing reporting experience where trust, explainability, and reliability are critical.
  • Experience working with external/vendor feeds (late data, partial data, conflicting signals) and building pragmatic “truth” layers.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
