ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform detailed market and customer research to define the future direction of the services handled.
- Lead the planning of product release plans and set expectations of delivery.
- Provide vision and direction to the product and development teams and stakeholders throughout the project.
- Define product vision, sprint plan, and growth opportunities in alignment with the defined road map.
- Communicate priorities and status to internal stakeholders.
- Interact with various stakeholders in the marketplace to understand requirements and issues.
- Maintain change control to prevent project scope drift.
- Create and maintain all Product Lifecycle documents like BSD’s, ICA’s, on a weekly basis.
- Create release configuration notes for stakeholder communications.
- Work with internal departments to ensure migration of new functionality.
- Work with Requirement Analysts to ensure research and requirements milestones are met and in line with the project vision.
- Mitigate risk impacting successful completion of project deliverables.
- Work closely with the scrum and leadership team to create and maintain product backlog.
- Identifying areas for improvement in team processes and contributing to solutions.
- Participating in Partner Collaborative efforts across the ACA marketplace.
- Outline new product opportunities to increase on overall understanding of key product metrics.
- Develop and provide Quality Checks to ensure compliance with state and federal quality standards.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 6+ years of experience within the healthcare industry w/ 3 years working in an agile environment, especially in the health care domain.
- Strong knowledge of managing product builds teams.
- Demonstrated experience of delivering similar engagements.
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, and web service architecture.
- Knowledge of both SOAP and REST APIs.
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in the healthcare industry specifically in the ACA
- Experience with JIRA/Confluence/Share point or similar tools.
- Experience working with multi-vendor teams in the health care space.
- Web service/API development exposure desirable.
- Project Management or Implementation experience.
- Quality Assurance experience.
- REST/ JSON / XML exposure preferred.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
- 5 + years in a Product Owner/Business Analyst role.
- Bachelor's Degree
