Senior Cyber Security Manager

We're expanding our global technology team and seeking a visionary cybersecurity leader to join our ranks.

A Senior Cybersecurity Manager is a high-level professional overseeing and coordinating an organisation's comprehensive cybersecurity program. This role involves developing and implementing security strategies, managing projects, leading incident response efforts, and driving security automation initiatives. The manager oversees security operations, conducts risk assessments, and designs robust security architectures. They ensure compliance with industry regulations, manage security audits, and oversee relationships with security vendors. The position also requires effective incident reporting and communication skills and a commitment to continuously improving security practices. This multifaceted role demands technical expertise, leadership abilities, and strategic thinking to safeguard the organisation's digital assets and maintain a strong security posture.

You have: 
• 8+ years of battle-tested technology experience
• 5+ years in the cybersecurity trenches
• 4+ years leading and growing high-performance tech teams
• BS or Master's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Razor-sharp attention to detail and relentless problem-solving skills
• Insatiable appetite for learning new technologies
• Mastery of cybersecurity trends, risk management, and industry best practices
• Exceptional communication skills to rally diverse teams
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and REST APIs
• Deep understanding of NIST, ISO 27001, and other security frameworks
• Expertise in network security, encryption, and vulnerability assessment
• Hands-on experience with top-tier security tools (Carbon Black, CrowdStrike, etc.)
• Industry-leading certifications (or willingness to achieve them)
• Cloud security expertise, including Azure and AWS
• In-depth knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA)
