What You Will Do and Learn
As a Senior Associate, you'll own the design and delivery of modules or workstreams on Snowflake-based analytics and AI engagements. You'll work independently, review the work of Associates, and act as a day-to-day technical contact for client counterparts on your workstream. - Design and implement RAG-based and GenAI solutions on Snowflake, including chunking strategy, embeddings, Cortex Search, Cortex LLM functions, and retrieval quality evaluation
- Build and deploy interactive data and AI applications using Streamlit in Snowflake, and develop React-based front ends that integrate with Snowflake APIs
- Convert business requirements into technical designs, estimates for your own workstream, and clear task breakdowns
- Review code and designs from Associates; mentor and onboard junior team members
- Act as day-to-day technical contact for client stakeholders on your workstream; communicate status, risks, and recommendations
- Ensure quality through test strategy, data validation, and UAT support
- Support pre-sales on request: contribute to POC builds, demos, and technical inputs for estimation
- Contribute reusable accelerators and best practices to the practice
Qualifications
- 5-7 years in data engineering, BI, or analytics solution delivery, including 2-3+ years hands-on Snowflake including Financial data modelling experience
- Experience connecting Snowflake with ERP/EPM systems (SAP, Anaplan, OneStream)
- Strong SQL and Python; experience with dbt and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Hands-on experience building at least one RAG or GenAI solution (Cortex or an equivalent stack: vector stores, LLM APIs, orchestration frameworks)
- Working experience with Streamlit and ReactJS (or a comparable modern front-end framework)
- Solid grounding in data modeling (Kimball/Data Vault), data quality, and DevOps/CI-CD practices
- Experience writing requirements, user stories, and test cases for data warehouse or data mart initiatives
- Consulting or project-based delivery experience in Agile/Kanban teams
- Experience with a BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, ThoughtSpot, or similar)
- SnowPro Core certified; SnowPro Advanced (Architect or Data Engineer) preferred or in progress
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder skills
