Biller
Our busy specialty practice, Susquehanna Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, is looking for a dedicated Biller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions, and providing support to patients with their billing and insurance-related questions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth billing operations and helping the practice achieve its financial goals.
Your Responsibilities:
- Process all dental insurance claims in a timely manner.
- Review insurance claims for accuracy before submission.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with insurance companies.
- Enter Explanation of Benefits (EOB) information and post insurance payments accurately.
- Respond to patient questions regarding EOBs and statements.
- Monitor insurance Accounts Receivable (AR) and track down overdue payments.
- Resubmit claims when necessary and follow up on denials.
- Maintain detailed records of all insurance-related correspondence and transactions.
Your Background:
Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for patient care and smooth office operations? We are seeking someone who can help manage the billing and insurance processes while providing excellent support to our patients. We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar billing or insurance role, with 1-2 years of experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Proficiency in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills to address claim discrepancies and denials.
- A patient-focused attitude and a high level of professionalism.

Position Base Pay Range
$18 - $21 USD
