Compliance Coordinator
Objective and Purpose:
The Compliance Coordinator in the Houston area will assist with day-to-day management and coordination of the regulatory compliance program, focusing on OSHA, HIPAA, CDC, State and other regulations. To ensure success, the Compliance Coordinator should be confident, professional, and self-motivated with a keen interest in the ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the dental specialty industry. Top candidates will have outstanding presentation and report writing skills, with the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the day-to-day regulatory compliance resource for Office Managers, Regional Directors, and Vice President of Operations
- Ensure inquiries and compliance helpline calls are properly investigated and root cause issues resolved.
- Independently assess, correct, and review success of regulatory compliance processes in individual offices by conducting virtual Regulatory Compliance Assessment of dental offices and working closely with office management to address findings and plan for the implementation of your solutions.
- Manage and report compliance updates with Specialty1 Partners safety infection control and other regulatory standards to key stakeholders.
- Serve as the point of contact for information on state level guidelines, dental board policies and regulations.
- Assist with special projects as assigned such as organizational policy development and education or training initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business or similar field of study.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare compliance or risk management, preferably in a multi-location or multi-state setting.
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate with operational and clinical leaders.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience with OSHA and HIPAA regulations strongly preferred.
- High level of computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience using compliance software or databases strongly preferred.

Position Base Pay Range
$26 - $30 USD
