Dental Insurance Coordinator - Oral Surgery
Our office, West Shore Oral Surgery in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking a talented Dental Insurance Coordinator.
We are growing and looking for top talent to join our team! We are seeking a highly driven, organized and detail-oriented individual with dental billing knowledge; one who is a team player and compassionate, and will complement our practice. This position is responsible, but not limited to, the coordination and processing of insurance payments, verification's, all billing, coordination of benefits, and ongoing communications with insurance carriers. Great interpersonal skills are required to build rapport with the patients, staff, and insurance carriers.
Responsibilities:
- Verify the patient’s dental insurance benefits.
- Provide timely insurance benefit information for each office.
- Enter data using dental practice management software.
- Upload completed insurance verification forms.
- Communicate with office managers and/or referring offices to obtain missing information.
- Communicate effectively with dental insurance companies to gather appropriate information regarding patient benefits
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Dental Billing and Insurance experience is required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven multi-tasking ability.
- Problem solving skills with effective solutions.
- Proficient with data entry.
- Microsoft Office experience (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of dental procedures and insurance billing codes.

Position Base Pay Range
$20 - $25 USD
