St. Louis Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a motivated, organized, and people-focused Office Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our pediatric dental practice. What You'll Do

As an Office Manager, you will oversee the daily administrative and operational functions of the practice while supporting the clinical team and creating a positive environment for patients and employees. You will work closely with the doctors and team to ensure the office operates efficiently, delivers exceptional customer service, and meets organizational goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dental office

• Lead, coach, and support front office and clinical team members

• Help establish clear expectations and promote accountability across the team

• Monitor scheduling, patient flow, and overall office efficiency

• Support the practice in meeting operational, financial, and patient experience goals

• Assist with staff scheduling, timekeeping, attendance, and coverage needs

• Monitor office performance and identify opportunities for process improvement

• Support patient and family concerns with professionalism, empathy, and appropriate follow-through

• Help ensure accurate patient records, documentation, and administrative processes

• Support insurance, billing, collections, and financial processes as needed

• Monitor office supplies, inventory, and equipment needs

• Partner with the clinical team to maintain efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience

• Ensure the practice follows company policies, HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and other applicable regulations

• Assist with onboarding, training, and development of new team members

• Communicate effectively with doctors, team members, leadership, and other partners

• Participate in meetings and practice initiatives designed to improve team performance and patient care

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a dental or healthcare office management role preferred

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience required

• Experience in a pediatric dental environment is a plus

• Strong understanding of dental office operations, scheduling, and patient service

• Experience with practice management software preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable

• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Professional, dependable, and solutions-oriented approach
