Pediatric Dental OKC is seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Patient Coordinator to join our pediatric dental team. What You'll Do

As a Patient Coordinator, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for patients and families while supporting the daily operations of the practice. You will coordinate appointments, assist with patient communication and front office processes, and work closely with the clinical team to ensure patients receive efficient and compassionate care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greet patients and families in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner
  • Manage patient scheduling, including appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling
  • Confirm appointments and communicate appointment reminders to patients and families
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to patient questions in a timely and professional manner
  • Register new patients and maintain accurate demographic and patient information
  • Assist with patient check-in and check-out while supporting efficient patient flow
  • Coordinate with the clinical team regarding patient needs, scheduling, and potential delays
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Assist patients and families with general questions regarding office procedures and services
  • Support a positive experience for children by creating a welcoming and comfortable front office environment
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA and other applicable privacy requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
  • Assist with additional administrative and front office responsibilities as needed
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare office preferred
  • Pediatric dental experience is a plus
  • Experience with scheduling or practice management software preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working with children, parents, and caregivers
  • Dependable, professional, and team-oriented approach
