At Rapid City Orthodontics, we believe in investing in our team and helping you grow. As an orthodontic assistant, we will help you to become a certified dental assistant!

General Duties:

Select and set up instruments and materials needed for the patient's orthodontic appointment
Work with the orthodontist chairside in detailed orthodontic appointments
Provide orthodontic care instructions
Cross-trained in sterilization processes
Gain the trust of the children by being personable and comforting
Create a fun and inviting experience for both patient and parent
Get along and work effectively with others

Requirements:

Excellent communication abilities -- both in-person and electronically
Friendly and determined to make our patients feel welcome
Reliable
Confident
Great at multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional problem solver
Strong work ethic and sense of personal integrity
Strong hand-eye coordination
