We are looking for an experienced and proactive IT Manager to own, develop and enhance our internal IT Infrastructure. You will partner with our VP of Engineering to ensure security is maintained throughout the organization, maintain Sphinx’s internal accounts and systems, and technical vendor management. Support as we pivot to a remote MDM and transition to a Macbook first environment.
What you will be focusing on:
- IT Operations - Manage and maintain Sphinx systems, software tools (Google, Slack, Jamf, etc) and hardware (macbooks)
- Technical Support - Provide day-to-day internal support.
- Security & Compliance - Implement IT security policies to ensure federal compliance (CMMC), manage controls, and update policies as needed.
- Tooling & Automation - Manage licenses and renewals.
- Onboarding & Offboarding - Manage IT onboarding/offboarding for employees, including account access, hardware shipment, and remote MDM deployment
- Documentation - Maintain and update appropriate documentation regarding IT processes, assets, and infrastructure.
You might be a good fit if:
- 4+ years of experience in an IT Manager role being solely responsible for the infrastructure of a start-up or remote organization.
- Ability to work cross functionally with projects teams, HR, operations, and finance to develop and maintain thoughtful technical procedures.
- Strong knowledge in cloud-based systems (AWS, Google Workspace, Slack, etc)
- Strong understanding of IT security principles, tools, and best practices.
- Knowledge of remote device management and endpoint protection tools (Jamf, Hypori)
- Understanding of CMMC compliance is a bonus.
- Have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in collaborative organizations
- Have the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- You thrive in ambiguous environments.
LOCATION
This hybrid role requires a regular presence in Colorado Springs, CO.
COMPENSATION
This role is between $100,000 - $125,000 base salary.
