Jira Administrator

About the Role
We’re looking for a Jira Administrator to own and optimize our Atlassian ecosystem (two Jira instances and Confluence). This role is central to a major standardization project — unifying and streamlining how our teams use Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence so that we can scale effectively.

If you enjoy designing workflows, building automations, and translating business requirements into practical Jira solutions, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Unify & Standardize Atlassian Instances: Lead the consolidation of two Jira instances into a standardized, scalable environment.
• Administration & Configuration: Manage Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence, including permissions, schemes, and global settings.
• Automations & Scripting: Design and implement automations, scripts, and integrations to streamline processes and accelerate delivery.
• Solutions Delivery: Translate user requests into new Jira projects, service portals, request types, workflows, dashboards, and reports.
• User Enablement: Act as the go-to Jira expert for business teams, providing guidance, training, and best practices.
• Governance & Maintenance: Ensure consistent configuration standards, monitor performance, and keep the environment healthy.

Collaboration: Work with IT, Operations, and Business teams to design solutions that meet organizational needs.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience as a Jira/Atlassian Administrator.
• Hands-on experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
• Strong background in automations, scripting (e.g., n8n, ScriptRunner, or similar), and integrations.
• Proven experience leading instance unification or standardization projects.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Jira/Confluence solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
