Marketing Operations Specialist

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist – Marketing Operations to support our growing marketing team by ensuring data integrity, optimizing lead management processes, and enhancing marketing performance tracking. This role will play a vital part in improving marketing efficiency, campaign effectiveness, and CRM data accuracy while supporting our go-to-market (GTM) strategy.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, data-driven, and tech-savvy, with experience working in marketing automation, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities:

1. Data & Analytics Management

    • Maintain and improve marketing data accuracy and integrity within CRM (Salesforce).
    • Analyze campaign performance, lead conversion, and pipeline impact using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
    • Build and manage marketing reports, dashboards, and attribution models to measure marketing ROI.
    • Collaborate with Revenue Operations to align marketing data with sales and finance reporting.

2. Marketing Performance & Campaign Optimization

    • Track and report on marketing KPIs, including lead generation, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution.
    • Provide insights to optimize campaign performance, advising on best-performing channels and tactics.
    • Support the development of quarterly and annual business reviews (QBRs) with actionable insights.
    • Work closely with demand generation, field marketing, and digital teams to improve campaign efficiency.

3. Lead Management & Segmentation

    • Oversee lead intake, scoring, routing, and assignment processes to improve marketing-to-sales alignment.
    • Ensure leads are properly categorized and managed based on Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) criteria.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to track lead follow-up and disposition for continuous process improvement.
    • Identify and implement best practices for lead nurturing, re-engagement, and conversion optimization.

4. MarTech & CRM Optimization

    • Support marketing automation tools (Pardot) and their integration with the CRM.
    • Assist in troubleshooting MarTech issues, automation workflows, and system enhancements.
    • Work with IT and SalesOps to optimize CRM data hygiene, de-duplication, and process automation.
    • Train marketing team members on best practices for using marketing automation and CRM systems.

5. Compliance & Data Governance

    • Maintain compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations.
    • Implement and enforce data hygiene and governance best practices.
    • Ensure marketing data is structured and segmented correctly for accurate reporting and targeting.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing operations, demand generation, or analytics.
  • Strong Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua).
  • Ability to analyze and interpret marketing data and performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio).
  • Knowledge of lead scoring, funnel metrics, and campaign tracking best practices.
  • Understanding of data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and compliance standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and IT.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in process improvement.
  • Team player, respectfully collaborating with the team and working together to find the best solution.  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B technology, SaaS, or enterprise software industries.
  • Basic SQL knowledge or experience with marketing analytics and database queries.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, attribution modeling, and UTM tracking.
  • Data-driven mindset, with experience measuring and reporting on stakeholder engagement impact.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and can adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
  • A self-starter who can take initiative.
  • A constant learner with the capacity to quickly learn new technologies

We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. As such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data and geographic location.
