Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days/week in the SEO office at 55 Exchange Place, New York, NY

Founded in 1963 during the Civil Rights Movement, SEO closes educational and career opportunity gaps for 7,000 ambitious young people annually. 

SEO Career & Alternative Investments team recruits and prepares high-achieving undergraduates for summer internships in corporate America, including Wall Street, commercial real estate, and technology, with more than 80% leading to coveted full-time jobs.    
 

POSITION OVERVIEW 

The SEO Career & Alternative Investments Recruitment Team works to recruit and place hundreds of undergraduate students from the nation’s top degree programs within competitive internship positions in service of SEO’s mission.  

The Manager, Campus Recruiting is responsible for building a strong undergraduate and early talent pipeline of diverse talent from universities across the United States with the goal of increasing applications to SEO Career and Alternative Investments. This role will focus on promoting internship opportunities available through the SEO Career & Alternative Investments program. You will have an opportunity to engage with students, organizations, and key campus staff to help them to understand our unique value proposition by representing SEO Career & Alternative Investments team on campuses across the country.   

  • Manage a portfolio of ~30 universities 
  • Represent SEO at conferences and Road Shows  
  • Create a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract qualified, diverse candidates by identifying, developing, and leveraging key campus relationships and resources. 
  • Collect, manage, and use recruitment data and market research to inform strategies that build brand awareness and increase positive sentiment for SEO among our target population.  
  • Create social media campaigns, presentation decks, and other outreach materials to promote and market SEO Career & Alternative Investments; partner with the SEO Marketing & Communications team to ensure alignment with SEO’s branding and tone, as needed.  
  • Function as the key liaison for students, interpret the program’s value proposition, and help guide them through the application process and partner opportunities.  
  • Conduct LinkedIn Recruiter or e-recruiting searches when assigned and work with other members of the internal team on special projects.  
  • Perform other duties in support of the SEO Career & Alternative Investments programs, and SEO’s overall mission to be assigned.  

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Bachelors in related technical and/or human resources field required.  
  • 2-4 years of professional work experience in recruiting; campus or agency recruiting; assistant-level or sourcing experience applies.  
  • Must have a working knowledge of the financial services industry or corporate environments.   
  • Direct experience in campus recruiting or early career program management within commercial real estate or corporate is a plus.  

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS 

  • Adept at learning and using technology, systems, and processes in a cloud-based environment; familiarity with social media marketing, and direct recruiting experience using LinkedIn, Recruiter, Handshake, job boards, and Google, required.  
  • Strong organizational skills. Must be able to multi-task and handle changing priorities in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.  
  • Attention to detail, especially related to data collection and management. Proficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel skills required. Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRMs, or similar databases is a plus; familiarity with Salesforce and Tableau is preferred.
  • Expert presentation and extemporaneous communication skills. Must be comfortable addressing and engaging with diverse communities at various levels and mediums, including in-person, (i.e., Zoom, Handshake, Teams), email, messaging platforms, and phone calls.  
  • Deep curiosity and passion for closing the opportunity gap is non-negotiable.

The compensation listed in this posting reflects what SEO believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
