Product Manager: Payment Operations

The Role 

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about the payments industry, building innovative products, and making a significant impact on a wide range of businesses in the hospitality space. As a Product Manager for Payment Operations, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of payment solutions, enabling seamless transactions for millions of merchants and customers.

You will work on:

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap: Create and articulate a comprehensive product vision, strategy and roadmap for your product area, aligning with SpotOn’s broader objectives
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Data Science, and Go-to-Market teams to create a cohesive product vision. Collaborate effectively to ensure successful execution of product initiatives, positioning our company as a leading player in the payments industry.
  • Innovation and Market Research: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes. Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities for new payment products and features that meet the evolving demands of our merchants.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Put our merchants at the center of product decision-making. Utilize customer feedback, behavior data, and analytics to continuously improve the payments experience, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Product Development and Lifecycle Management: Define clear product requirements and user stories. Work closely with engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality payment solutions.
  • Compliance and Security: Work with compliance teams to ensure that all payment products comply with card brand regulations and adhere to the highest standards of security and risk management, safeguarding our merchants' financial transactions.
  • Business Growth: Identify opportunities to expand our merchant payment solutions, drive revenue growth, and enhance our value proposition for merchants through strategic partnerships and market expansion.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and metrics to make informed product decisions, measure product performance, and optimize payment offerings.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area
  • Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities
  • Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
  • Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies
  • Strong organization and execution capabilities, including leading initiatives and cross functional teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to effectively synthesize, organize and communicate complex information

Compensation:

  • Our base pay range is $150,000 -$175,000 for this role + RSUs. 
  • Please note the salary range listed is just one component of a competitive compensation package which includes a company stock plan
  • Offers will be reflective of the candidate’s location and experience.
