Instructional Designer
About the role:
We're looking for a talented Instructional Designer based in India to join our Learning Experience Design team. In this role, you'll design engaging, learner-centric, and career-aligned educational experiences that are deeply rooted in real-world applications.
You'll work across Springboard's growing portfolio of courses, with a particular focus on high-growth industries like healthcare.
The ideal candidate brings strong instructional design experience, is excited about the potential of AI tools in content development, and has a deep understanding of adult learning principles, especially in professional training and upskilling contexts.
What You’ll Do

Design, structure, and refine online learning experiences based on learner needs and industry outcomes

Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to turn complex concepts into accessible, real-world learning content

Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, generative AI platforms) to innovate and scale content development

Create diverse instructional assets such as learning copy, assessments, activities, and projects

Apply learning science, accessibility, and instructional design best practices

Work cross-functionally to ensure a consistent and scalable learner experience

Analyze learner performance and feedback to continuously improve content
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as an instructional designer or curriculum developer

Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM)

Demonstrated use of AI tools in instructional workflows

Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills

Proficiency in tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, Google Suite, and LMS platforms

Experience working with SMEs and remote teams

Strong project management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience creating learning content for healthcare, digital health, or clinical programs

Background in project-based or competency-based learning design

Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design standards

Experience conducting content testing or learner experience evaluations
