Curriculum Developer (Healthcare)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Curriculum Developer based in India to join our Learning Experience Design team. You’ll work on designing engaging, learner-centric, and career-aligned educational experiences for Springboard’s growing course portfolio — with an emphasis on programs in high-growth verticals such as healthcare.

The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years of experience in instructional design and curriculum development (ideally in the healthcare professional training space), has used AI tools to enhance content development workflows, and understands the nuances of designing effective content for adult learners, particularly in professional training or upskilling contexts.

What You’ll Do

• Design, structure, and refine engaging online learning experiences based on learner needs, industry demands, and key outcomes.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop content that simplifies complex concepts and supports real-world application
• Use AI tools and technologies (e.g., ChatGPT, generative AI platforms) to improve efficiency, scale, and innovation in the content development process
• Develop diverse learning assets, including instructional copy, assessments, interactive activities, and project-based assignments
• Apply instructional design best practices, learner empathy, and learning science principles to support effective, accessible learning
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent, scalable learning experiences across programs
• Monitor learner performance and feedback to iterate and improve learning content

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a curriculum developer building courses within a healthcare training context
• Strong command of adult learning theory, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and learner-centred design principles
• Experience designing programs and/or training for current or aspiring healthcare professionals. (Please note: This is required.)
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools to assist with content ideation, prototyping, writing, or media generation
• Proven ability to create clear, engaging, and outcomes-aligned learning materials
• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills
• Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, Google Suite, LMS platforms)
• Experience collaborating with SMEs and cross-functional stakeholders in a remote work environment
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

• An undergraduate or professional degree in health sciences
• Background in project-based learning or competency-based learning design
• Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design standards
• Experience conducting content testing or learner experience evaluations
