The Opportunity

The Head of Marketing, Consumer will be instrumental in driving enrollments through a mix of paid and unpaid channels, leveraging expertise in paid search, SEO, and affiliate marketing. What you'll do

  • Develop and execute performance marketing strategies across various channels, including paid search (Google Ads, Bing Ads), SEO, and affiliate marketing, to achieve enrollment goals.
  • Manage and optimize paid search campaigns from keyword research and ad copy creation to bidding strategies and budget allocation, ensuring maximum ROI.
  • Lead SEO efforts to improve organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic to our website, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content strategy collaboration.
  • Grow and manage our affiliate marketing program, identifying and recruiting new partners, negotiating terms, and optimizing performance.
  • Analyze campaign performance data rigorously, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to continuously improve results.
  • Develop and implement A/B tests across channels to optimize campaign performance, landing pages, and conversion funnels.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates to stakeholders on progress towards enrollment targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in performance marketing, recommending new strategies and channels to explore.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, content, and sales, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.

What you'll bring

  • 7+ years of experience in performance marketing, with a strong focus on driving efficient customer acquisition.
  • Proven expertise in paid search platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads) with a track record of managing successful campaigns.
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices, including experience with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console).
  • Experience in developing and managing affiliate marketing programs.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel/Google Sheets).
  • A highly data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in testing new marketing channels and innovative strategies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights clearly.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with shifting priorities.
