About Springboard
Springboard is an online learning platform focused on helping learners build real-world skills and launch or advance their careers. Core to our success is our human-guided support model featuring mentors, instructors, career coaches, and advisors to help students succeed.
Through this hybrid approach, we’ve helped thousands of learners revamp their careers and, by extension, their lives. We partner closely with industry experts to design cutting-edge, outcomes-driven programs.
About the Role
We’re seeking a Launch Operations Manager to launch new courses and ensure that programs run smoothly as they grow from the first cohort through steady state.
You’ll own the project plans, timelines, and cross-team coordination that make launches actually happen on time—and then stay on to strengthen the playbook for every cohort that follows.
You’ll work closely with teams across Learning Experience, Sales, Product, Student Success, and Engineering—making sure the right people are talking to each other, deadlines are clear, and nothing is blocked.
This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role for someone with a builder mindset who’s comfortable figuring things out in real time and bringing structure where there isn’t any yet.
What You’ll Do
Launch Operations
- Build and manage end-to-end project plans for new course launches—owning timelines, task assignments, and cross-team dependencies to drive internal alignment.
- Own launch readiness—make sure every system, workflow, and handoff is in place before a course goes live, so there are no scrambles on launch day.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to make sure nothing is blocked—flagging risks early, tracking open items, and keeping teams accountable to shared deadlines.
Post-Launch Stabilization & Ongoing Operations
- Run recurring cross-functional check-ins to align teams on what’s changing between cohorts—content updates, process fixes, bug resolution—so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Establish a regular cadence for reviewing course health metrics to identify trends and lead the cross-functional sprints to fix friction points between cohorts.
- Triage course feedback, coordinate curriculum updates between cohorts, and ensure Cohorts 2, 3, and beyond launch as smoothly as the first.
- Create clear documentation for workflows, automations, and processes so institutional knowledge is accessible and teams can self-serve where appropriate.
Stakeholder Communication
- Coordinate meetings across levels of the organization in a clear and confident manner. You should feel comfortable kicking off a meeting that may be attended by Senior Directors or the Springboard CEO, which is intended to drive a decision.
- Comfortable flagging blockers and trade-offs to Senior Directors and the CEO to ensure critical decisions are made before they impact critical outcomes.
- Support change management when new tools or processes roll out, helping teams adopt them successfully rather than letting adoption stall.
What You Bring
- End-to-End Ownership: 5+ years in Operations, Enablement, or Program Management where you’ve built from scratch—owning initiatives from the initial "messy" idea to a scaled reality.
- A True Builder Mindset: You don't just follow a checklist; you thrive in ambiguity and reason from root causes. When there’s no playbook, you’re excited to be the one to write it.
- Strong Project Management Instincts: You know how to scope work, set realistic timelines, and keep multiple workstreams moving without dropping balls. Mastery of tools like Asana or any task management tool is expected.
- High-Agency & Independence: You are a disciplined, independent worker who doesn't need to be told what the next step is. You close loops instinctively and keep work moving without being chased.
- Strategic Communication: You’re a clear, proactive communicator across both technical and non-technical teams. You have the intellectual curiosity to ask the right questions and the confidence to proactively flag risks to leadership, including Senior Directors and the CEO.
- Applied AI Mindset - You possess an “automation-first” brain, and you can point to concrete examples of how you’ve used AI to build smarter workflows, scale your own output, and solve operational bottlenecks.
Nice to Have
- Experience with tools like HubSpot and Zapier.
- Startup or fast-paced, iterative environment experience.
- Agentic AI experience is a plus, but not required.
