Role Summary
The Regional Human Resources Generalist plays a vital role in supporting key HR activities including Compliance, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Leaves of Absence, Employee Relations, Safety, and related HR projects.
- Collaborate with appropriate members of the HR team to ensure data integrity between HRIS systems and payroll/timekeeping. Conduct audits and troubleshoot issues as needed and assigned.
- Ensure leave of absence and accommodation requests are processed, tracked, and administered in accordance with company policy and applicable laws
- Assist in the administration of company benefit programs including open enrollment, life events, vendor relations, and general related inquiries
- Support and advise managers on best practices in a practical and compliant manner
- Facilitate the employment separation process ensuring compliance with internal procedures and applicable local/state specific requirements
- Pull, schedule and provide reports and data from systems as requested, and with respect to confidentiality guidelines
- Provide support to HR leadership on employee relations matters, safety programs, compliance, and department projects as assigned
- Serve as a back-up to HR Generalist teammates
- Maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations, as well as company policy, as applicable to the areas above
Education, Licenses, Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Human Resources Generalist professional exempt-level capacity
- Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, and professionalism
- Ability to multi-task
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
- Computer proficiency: Microsoft office, HRIS and payroll software (ADP experience preferred)
- Strong commitment to protect confidential/sensitive information
Employment Type
This is a full-time temp (6 months) exempt position onsite. This role will qualify for Medical, Dental, Vision benefits as well as a sick time accrual. In addition, you will need to be flexible to drive to different locations around the Bay Area on an as needed basis.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $90,000-100,000 annually. Salary is based on several factors including job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees.
