Role Summary
The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for processing bi-monthly and off-cycle payrolls, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, maintaining accurate payroll records, and managing payroll tax registrations and follow-up on tax-related issues. This role requires a high level of integrity, confidentiality, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Some day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Payroll Processing: Prepare and process bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Timekeeping Management: Collect and review timekeeping information, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
- Deductions and Benefits: Manage employee deductions, including taxes, benefits contributions, garnishments, and other withholdings.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations; prepare and submit required information for tax filings and reports.
- Payroll Tax Management: Manage and address payroll tax registrations, as well as follow up on and resolve payroll tax account issues.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- System Management: Utilize ADP to process payroll and generate reports; ensure the system is updated with current employee information and regulatory changes.
Education and Skills
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field, bachelor's preferred
- 3-5 Years of experience in payroll processing
- Experience with ADP highly preferred
Employment Type
This is a full-time (40 hours a week/8 hours per day) non-exempt remote position
Compensation
The hourly range for this role is $30-40. Salary is based on several factors including job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees.
