Role Summary
The role of Practice Assistant at Spring is an essential role to the success of the company. The Practice Assistant role supports all necessary functions to deliver an exceptional employee and patient experience at the primary offices and satellite practice(s). The role focuses on ensuring the day to day operations of the practices are running smoothly, supporting all staff in providing an end to end above and beyond hospitable experience for patients, and coordinating with the manager to ensure all necessary regulatory requirements are met. A Practice Assistant should support the overall goal for employees to have career high experiences and patients to have the best health care experiences of their lives in their practices.
Staff support and evaluation
- Support facilitation of training and adherence for all protocols and policies
- Coordinate with manager to ensure engagement and development opportunities are in place to minimize turnover across all roles
- Support manager and Leads in developing, implementing, and coordinate training and education programs in conjunction with Network Lead
- Participate in regular observations and audits with MAs, PNs, and FD admins to ensure high quality performance
Day to day operations & Patient experience
- Support the Manager, APP, Medical Director, and Laboratory Director on overall day to day operations of the office including the provider schedule
- Provide leadership presence and day to day support to satellite office(s)
- Support manager in daily active management to ensure SLAs for response time and abandonment rate are being met for all roles
- Maintain heightened expectations around patient and customer service creating a best in class care experience for all roles
- Assist the manager in resolving patient concerns and escalations in a timely and thoughtful manner
- Oversee cleanliness and up to date/professional look and feel of the office(s) on a daily basis
Regulatory requirements
- Support all FDA audits and regulatory visits
- Support the investigation of regulatory or compliance related complaints received. Report findings and resolutions to leadership.
Qualifications
- Health care experience, specifically in fertility preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Proficiency with EMR systems and scheduling software
Employment Type
This is a full-time non-exempt onsite position that requires early hours, rotational weekends and holidays.
Compensation
The hourly range for this role is $33-37/hr. Salary is based on several factors including job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees.
