Reporting to the Director of Revenue Cycle Operations, the Senior Manager, Revenue Integrity will lead a team focused on ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial transactions across cash posting, refunds, adjustments, reconciliation, and customer rate validation. This full time [hybrid] role is part of the Health Plan Operations team and plays a critical role in supporting financial accuracy, audit readiness, and operational scalability.
Please note that this is a hybrid role based in New York City, with an expectation to be in office 3 days a week. Our office is located at 60 Madison Avenue.
What You’ll be Doing:
- Lead and develop the Revenue Integrity team, overseeing payment posting, refunds, adjustments, and reconciliation activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of payments across bank accounts, accounting systems, and billing platforms.
- Partner with Finance to manage the month-end close process, including reconciliations and reporting deliverables.
- Maintain and validate customer rate cards in alignment with payer contracts to ensure accurate billing.
- Collaborate with BI and Product to build, automate, and validate operational and financial reporting.
- Establish and uphold strong internal controls to support audit readiness and compliance.
- Identify and implement continuous process improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of revenue operations.
What Success Looks Like:
- Cash Posting Accuracy: 99% of payments, refunds, and adjustments posted correctly
- Cash Posting Timeliness: 95% of daily payments posted within 48 hours of receipt
- Month-End Close Timeliness: Billing and posting closed by End of Business Day 2; reporting delivered by Business Day 4
- Reconciliation Completion: 100% of bank-to-system reconciliations completed on time
- Rate Card Accuracy: 99% of validated and accurately maintained customer rate cards
- DSO (Days Sales Outstanding): 45-55 Days: Support maintaining target through timely posting and reconciliation
- Unapplied Cash Rate: 0% of payments unapplied at month-end
What You’ll Bring:
- 7+ years of experience in revenue cycle operations, accounting, or related fields within a high-growth or healthcare organization
- Demonstrated expertise in cash posting, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of internal controls and audit processes
- Experience leading and developing teams
- High proficiency with billing systems and financial reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Excel)
- Experience in a healthcare or payer contracting environment is preferred
- Familiarity with SQL or BI tools for building automated reports is preferred
- CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative) or similar certification is preferred
The target base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $142,500 and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
