For the development and expansion of our European office in Weiterstadt (near Darmstadt), we are looking for you immediately as a

Repair Technician Tier 3 (f/m/d)

SprintRay is looking for a Repair Technician – Tier 3 to drive efforts to enhance the reliability of our products. This position will support root cause analysis and repairs to SprintRay hardware products. 

 

Your tasks will include:
  • Support product improvement efforts that drive enhanced customer experiences using quality engineering skills such as process and value stream mapping, statistical techniques including SPC and measurement
  • Identify best practices and standards for quality and system design improvements by working with others and management
  • Recommend, design and implement dynamic tools that guide the production of the SprintRay 3D Printer product lines
  • Conduct process audits and testing to quantify readiness
  • Troubleshoot, repair and document root cause and failure mode analysis of 3D printers and associated products
  • Conduct detailed inspection of products based on QC standards
  • Answer Tier 2 questions on further investigation repairs
  • Use Excel and Office365 tools
  • Understand workflow of repairs; plan with manager on daily/weekly tasks for team

 

Required qualifications:

  • Training in a technical profession or further training as a technician
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical experience after completion of formal certification training
  • Demonstrated proficient skills with hand tools and measurement instruments
  • Proven ability on troubleshooting and repair of at least two of the following skills: electromechanical, software interface, networking, dental equipment
  • Attention to detail and time management skills
  • English speaking
