Material Quality Control Inspector
As a Material Quality Control Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive quality assurance processes and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Research & Development, and Compliance, to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Quality Standards: Design and implement quality assurance protocols, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Testing and Analysis: Conduct testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods. Utilize statistical tools and quality techniques to analyze data and improve product quality.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with R&D and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, enhancing process efficiency and product reliability. Drive continuous improvement projects using Six Sigma or other quality management methodologies.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Maintain accurate and comprehensive quality records, documentation, and reports. Conduct internal audits and prepare for external audits and inspections.
- Team Leadership and Training: Mentor and train staff on quality standards, techniques, and best practices. Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.
- Strategic Quality Planning: Work with senior management to develop and execute strategic quality plans that align with business goals. Provide technical expertise and guidance on quality-related matters.
- Problem Solving and Innovation: Lead problem-solving initiatives for quality-related issues, utilizing root cause analysis and innovative solutions. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance quality practices.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma Black Belt) preferred. SprintRay, at its discretion, will accept a minimum of 4 years of related experience instead of the degree requirement.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a GMP and quality assurance or quality engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment ideal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply statistical and quality engineering techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Proficiency in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and quality tools (e.g., Minitab, SPC).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives and quality projects.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 with 10% bonus
